Extra Resources
NWEA: RIT Scores
This year we have taken a new assessment in the fall and winter and will also be taken again in the spring. We have been using this data to help us drive our instruction and to help us measure growth of each individual student. During conferences I will be handing out a scoring sheet so you can see exactly how your student has scored and how much they have grown over the year. The links below are recourses that you can use a home as an extra support to help your student improve in areas that they are lower in to help them increase their growth. On the sheet that I handed out during conferences it will have your students score for where they are currently at and it will also have a specific standard(s) where they show improvement. If you download the document below you can find your students RIT score and then you can also narrow it down to the specific standard that they are missing. If you then click on the skill it will take you to the Khan Academy website. On the left hand side of the screen will be a list of videos and skills practice you will want to click the very top selection which will start off with a video to teach that skill you will then continue down the list of videos and skills practice.
